2011 Bill Ritchie Handicap Form Guide

September 15th, 2011

The 2011 Bill Ritchie Handicap form guide shows that of the nine acceptors in the field only around half are worthy of being rated a genuine winning chance.

That’s not to say it’s impossible a roughie comes out and wins but the way we line it up there’s only the five genuine contenders come this Saturday at Rosehill Gardens.

Check out the form below and if you agree with us jump on to Luxbet and grab the best odds as soon as they open.

Conversely if you think we’ve made an error prove it, back them to win and we’ll see who comes out on top at the end of the day.

2011 Bill Ritchie Handicap Form Guide

Triple Elegance

At his best he probably wins this race but the form of late hasn’t been great. He was third in the George Ryder back in April but it’s been all downhill from there. He was 14th in the Doncaster, 6th in the missile Stakes 1st up in the spring, 12th in the Warwick Stakes and 9th last start in the Tramway Stakes. As we said though, at his best he wins.

Thankgodyou’rehere

He’s as consistent as they come but since making the switch to black type racing at the start of the year his brilliance has diminished somewhat. That’s to be expected given he’s taken a big jump in grade but for a horse with such an imposing win rate he needs to find the line again. This could well be that race, he’s been around the money at good grade for the last five, he’s ready to go.

The question with him is, is he fading? He was sixth last start in the Chelmsford but before that he was third in the Warwick Stakes and won at home in Brisbane. He drops back to the 1400m here which could be his go, don’t discount this bloke to just run them off their feet form out in front.

Tom’s Rocket

This horse is stepping up in grade for the first time but his form through the benchmarks races is solid. He’s won five from 17 including another five placings and at the 1400m he boasts four from seven. With the top guns not quite at their best this guy could strike.

Charing Cross

A bit of a long shot we agree but after running fifth in the Queensland Derby he has to have a bit of ability. Naturally the question then becomes the 1400m and if he’ll be fast enough for it but from two goes at the trip he’s won once and placed another time.

To be fair a fair few of the runners in the 2011 Bill Ritchie Handicap are far from being in career best form, but that being said it doesn’t mean something can’t spark them into life on Saturday.

It’s a golden chance for Group success for these runners and the trainers know that so they’ll be ready to win.

You should be ready to win as well so don’t waste any more time, head across to Luxbet and open your account now, with industry leading odds and a simple to use website there’s no reason not to bet with the best!
