The 2011 Bill Ritchie Handicap nominations have been released and what a field it is that looks like being put together this Saturday at Rosehill Gardens.

While a few of these may not make it past final acceptances most are tipped to do so and as a result the race should be a cracker.

The Bill Ritchie Handicap is a 1400m Group 3 contest and these are the horses that already look like being hard to beat come race day.

First off is the Chris Waller pair of Triple Elegance and Syreon, both need to find form ahead of a spring targeted towards Group 1 level.

For the Webster team it’s Thankgodyou’rehere, he ran last weekend though so watch this space as there’s every chance he won’t be among the final acceptors and that’ll change the race massively.

Kenny’s World comes on board for Graeme Murray, he’s a horse that’s as honest as any and can always spring a surprise.

Do Ra Mi is the Peter Moody entrant, after a couple of sluggish opening runs it could well be finding its feet a little deeper in the prep.

Finally Startsmeup, the Queensland runner which came so close to glory tow starts back finds another field where he could really dictate terms from out in front.
